More and more often we are called to convert an existing deck into a screen room or a seasonal room.  This family was looking to make their outdoor area a little more private.  The flooring of this room is a natural color Composite decking, this continues out of the room and down the stairs to create a multi-level entertaining area.  The interior of the room we finished with aluminum coil and aluminum ceiling panels.  The decks feature maintenance free decking as well as maintenance free composite railing and maintenance free lattice skirting.  We covered the bottom of the screen room with composite trim boards installed vertically.

This project was a two-part project. The homeowner originally wanted to do a 16×12 deck on the rear of the home, but once it was completed realized they did indeed want a larger deck. The entire deck was built with wolmanized lumber and covered with composite decking. The deck features a matching composite rail and a bench made from composite decking. Before the second deck was added, composite spindles were attached to the bottom half of the screen room windows for safety, once the deck was added they decided to keep them to help protect the screen.
